Rising Ground’s Children & Family Services strengthen families, helping children and adults overcome challenges and crises in order to create stability. We advocate for the rights and well-being of children/youth and their families while ensuring fair and appropriate treatment. Services include Enhanced Family Foster Care, Preventive Services to support families that have experienced challenges in caring for their child, Parent Advocacy work to assist parents who are involved in the child welfare system by connecting them with others with lived experience, and services for youth involved in the criminal justice system.

This work relates directly to our founding as an orphan house in 1831. For nearly two centuries, we have evolved to meet the needs of families and ensure the safety and well-being of children in times of need.
