Holiday Gift Drive 2025
Our annual Holiday Gift Drive has an enormous impact on the children, young people, and families Rising Ground supports. For many, the toy or gift card they receive from Rising Ground is their only gift.
Essentials for Runaway & Homeless Youth 2026
In Spring we hold our Essentials Drive, seeking donations of toiletry and personal care items, undergarments, socks, and outerwear to support over 4,000 youth in our Runaway & Homeless Youth programs. These items can make a significant impact on a young person’s daily life.
Back-to-School Drive 2026
At the end of summer, we hold our Back-to-School Drive. Your donation of backpacks and school supplies can lighten the financial burden for NYC families and help children and young people aged from pre-k through high school rise, achieve, and succeed!
Thanksgiving Food Drive 2026
The Thanksgiving holiday is rooted in sharing and giving thanks. Rising Ground’s annual Thanksgiving Food Drive invites you to honor that spirit by helping us to provide New York families with turkeys, canned goods, and other holiday staples. Every donated item—like a box of stuffing or a can of vegetables—can complete a family’s meal.
